|
Agile is an iterative and
incremental (evolutionary) approach to software development which is
performed in a highly collaborative manner by self-organizing teams with "just enough" ceremony that
produces high quality software in a cost effective and timely manner which
meets the changing needs of its stakeholders. Agile
methodology also emphasizes working software as the primary measure of
progress combined with the preference for face-to-face communication. Agile
methods produce very little written documentation relative to other methods.
This has resulted in criticism of agile methods as being undisciplined. The
workshop aims to provide a forum for exchange of ideas on ”Agile Methodology”
to promote result oriented research in this high-demanding and ever-growing
field. |
